Consumer Rights: "Portal da Queixa"



To resolve a complaint situation following the purchase of goods or services in Portugal, the consumer can go through the Portal da Queixa (Complaint Portal).


This online platform allows the consumer to submit and register in writing the problematic situation.


I have recently used this portal twice to complain about :

  • an unauthorised renewal of a contract with the telecom operator NOS

  • to claim compensation from the household supplier WORTEN following an incomplete installation of a fridge in Lisbon.

This is a very effective tool to get answers from the brands' after-sales services.
