The latest figures from the SEF (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras) indicate that the number of foreign residents in Portugal has increased for the 7th consecutive year.
For the year 2022, the SEF counts 757,252 foreigners registered as residents in Portugal. This is about 8% more than in 2021.
